About
Having ridden horses ever since he can remember, David began his career with horses over 20 years ago when he joined Hunt Service in 1986. During this time he worked for the Cottesmore, BeBelvoir, Blankney and Essex hunts, working his way up from groom to first whipper in. David then came out of hunt service to establish his own equine dentistry business in 2001.
Over the years, David has gained a breadth of valuable knowledge and experience in all aspects of horsemanship, both through his work and competing his own horses in point-to-points, cross-country and team chasing.

David has dealt with many troubled horses and with his calm, patient and understanding manner, gained their trust and co-operation. As part of his continuing professional development, David attends workshops and courses run by the British (Equine) Veterinary Association (BEVA).
David still enjoys spending his spare time in the saddle, and is looking forward to competing in the next point-to-point season!
